Medical check-up results are most accurate when your body is in a baseline state. Here is the basic preparation we recommend.
Fast for 8–12 hours. For fasting glucose and lipid profile, avoid food and caloric drinks. Plain water is fine.
No heavy exercise the day before. Intense exercise temporarily raises SGPT/SGOT and uric acid.
Get enough sleep. 7–8 hours keeps blood pressure and glucose steady; an all-nighter pushes both higher.
Tell us about your medications. Steroids, diuretics, and high-dose vitamins can skew lab values.
Wear easy-to-remove clothing for chest X-ray and EKG — avoid metal accessories on the chest.
